GTA V PC New Release date and System Specs

I don't want to even guess how long 65GB would take to download with my 4MB DL speed. Max Payne 3 took three or four days, during which the Internet was mostly unusable for heavy bandwidth content, so this will probably take almost a week to download. I think I'm going to get a physical copy.

But I love the specs. If a 660 is a recommended, my 970 should net stellar performance, maybe even with enough left over for DSR or AA, depending on which looks and performs better.

100Mb is not slow at all.. 100Mb= 12.5MB. That's insanely quick. Hell in the US it's rare to get anything over 30Mb. After that it's straight to Fiber, and fiber is even more rare.

That's America though, Europe has internet infrastructure way ahead of it, Friend of mine in south Texas is on 10Mb and pays through the nose for it, My line in England costs $40 a month for the unlimited 100Mb speed.

I'm just spoiled when it comes to internet to be honest, At home I have a 100Mb line so download at around 12.7MB/s and when I stay at my brothers I use his work internet which is literally across the road from his work and it's a fiber line and it makes my 100Mb line seem slow ^_^

I'm not going to pre-order but I'll probably pick it up relatively quickly after release. Delays are fine and dandy if the end result is stable and doesn't have any game breaking bugs.

Only because the US has a more dense population. So it costs more for them to upgrade everything. Either way they charge us out the ass because we have no other option. No one pays the local guys for internet because they charge so damn much and get slower speeds.

I think it's actually about even in area covered by people, But remember the combined EU has 742.5 million people and has pretty good coverage when it comes to fiber and the USA has 316.1m, Both as of last year and seeing as the USA is meant to be the richest country you would think fast internet would be a given

EU is bigger than the US.. we have more dense population. Esepcially in the east where it's so packed you can walk faster than cars. Just less people overall.

USA being the richest is a joke.. last i checked we were what? nearing 20 trillion $ in debt? lol Trust i wish we were rich.. PC porn for everyone if i was.

Besides the gov't has nothing to do what internet infastrucutre. Here it's all about the ISPs. And they claim they are upgrading.. just slow as hell. Even the major cities barely have fiber. Places that have it tend to be Businesses/Uni's.

I wish my street had fiber, im sick of crappy Aust internet.

I wouldn't care about fiber if I had 110Mb connection. Most of my connection goes to waste anyway

You are complaining about 110Mb/13MB internet speeds? Wow. Don't come to America. It's far worse.

USA and Australia aren't that great for internet. Google internet for free? I mean really? That will take over a decade before it even becomes common to rural areas. Americans afaik pay about $3 for every 1mbps, e.g 45Mbps= $135. Not worth the money at all. That's how it is in some areas, others its better or worse but for me that what it seems to be in the state.

Fair enough maybe it was rude to say that, I know that Google Fibre is not free its like $60.00 per month but isn't that like for high speed, You can only get Google Fibre in about a handful of city's tho

I think it's only in 2 cities right now. I think it was free for like a 5mbps down and 1up and the non free one was like $50 for 1gbps down.
