Hi everyone.
My GS600 have coil whine some times even at idle. It's normal?
From my knowledge coil whine under load is normal it's just a sound of electricity.
My specs:
CPU - 2500K @ 3.3 GHz
GPU - GTX 560ti factory OC @ 900MHz
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 8gb @ 1866MHz 1.65v
MB - MSI Z77-GD55
HDD - 320gb 7200rpm
SSD - Crucial M4 64gb

Gpu and psu are used for one year rest are new.

Normal...? It depends, sometimes people can get it all the time.

It's nothing to worry about though.

If it bothers you that much, send the psu back, a few places will honour the warranty if you word the fault right

I lost bill with warranty. So I need live with that. Besides i can't hear it when components are in case. Simple now when all are in open air on the desk while case are at modders. I hear everything.
And I even was wondering for new PSU because of that coil whine at idle.

My GPU's have quite loud coil whine at load i have to turn vsync on to lower it a bit or it drives me crazy, its normal but annoying.

I'd rather have coil whine than a gtx670 which the choice was between as it would look like a sound card with a water block on it. LOL

Pretty sure nvidia cards have some too.

Well, i don't hear anything from my 670... :) An easy way to fix the tiny PCB problem is just to get a custom PCB card or a 670 on a 680 PCB...
