Well if I only had one GTX 780 card and two harddrives I could also make the case quite neat. But here it's 3 cards and 2xSSD and 2xHDD's an all cables on the modular PSU are in use ^_^ ... now that gives a challenge !.

First thing I would do would be to buy a new case, a full tower, you can get some great cases for about £80, like the Enthoo Pro, it has great cable management and a psu shroud.

I think no matter what you do, you'll never get that tidy, plus the air flow for the GPU's looks like it could be improved on.

I find it hard to believe that you put all this great hardware together including tri-SLI and didn't factor in a suitable case to begin with..

As I wrote earlier, I'm going to replace it with a Phanteks Enthoo Pro my X99 build. I never had airflow issues eventhough of the cable layout, it has all been nice and cool as it is possible on air. 3x GeForce 8800GTX & GTX280/470/580/670's and never a single overheating issue :)

Hmm - have you read the very beginning of this thread :)? I started out with this case in the beginning and it has since housed all my 3-way-SLi systems ! So yes I did factor it when I was buying this case around 8 years ago for running 3x GeForce 8800GTX (have no pictures of that unfortunately). It's just since then cases have "evolved" and changed with a lot more focus on cable management and tidiness.

Hehe I see :D
Well I feel in love with the Cooler Master CM690 nVidia Edition the day it got released and it was a dream case for me - I love the green and black and the smooth curves of the case. It was nearly impossible to find in Denmark and I patiently waited 4months before it restocked in very small numbers.
Since then I have many times considered getting a new case, but none has awoken the same feelings like the CM690... not untill Phanteks released the Enthoo Pro and Enthoo Luxe with side window panels. One of these will be the next "house" for at least 4years :)

For real. I prefer the case you have. I would have all the chassis painted black and full custom cables the right length made and clean it up like crazy. With lots of attention to detail I think the cards and case could work really well it just needs half the cables and ghetto throwing out.

Phanteks Enthoo Pro.. yes yes yes it will frame your hardware beautifully.
Really can't wait to see this, I've looked through this thread a number of times and I kinda like the packed case with tri-sli, but seeing what he can do in an enthoo luxe or pro will be a sight I want to see

I've got a soft spot for Phanteks, my main build is in a Primo, and the build I've justb started is in a white Luxe. For a company that are new to cases they are doing a lot of things right, that other company's could learn from.

Have you seen their 2 M-ATX cases that a soon to release ? The Enthoo EVOLVE, and the Mini XL, the Mini has a rear, top mounted psu, with a M- ATX board in the bottom, but you can buy an optional panel to convert the top half to M-ITX. I'm tempted to get the EVOLVE, it looks insane, for a M-ATX.

Wish the mini xl had a bottom mounted psu :/

That thermaltake sticker on the psu makes it look like its a 300w rip off, and looks like its been made in paint (im being serious) with a old style font

At the moment I think Phanteks do a better job then corsair at making cases. Your rig will look much better when you make the case change :D.
