Hello everyone.
Just saying hi to be polite really.
Still running a Q6600 @ 3.6 with a Khuler 920 on a Asus P5Q Deluxe with 2 x 4GB Crucial Ballistix Elite and a 6950 fully flashed to 6970 and hilariously 2 32GB raptors in raid 0 as by boot drive + a 2TB spinpoint for all mydownloads very important documents etc all on a Coolermaster silent pro gold 1200w (yeah.... overkill...)..
Bought a new case recently as the old lian li was too cramped with the khuler in it.. Got a Antec P280. Nicely put together case but even with several months of prevaricating before purchase I now know I got the wrong case for me so thats a bit of a shame. If only I had seen this site a year ago.
I talked myself out of a sandybridge upgrade for about a year waiting for ivy only to find it a bit disappointing, but maybe for the best because really my rig still plays everything I play fine at 1920 x 1200 normally at high settings and my kids hemorage cash like there is no tomorrow without any help from me.
Anyways, Im going to try and hold off for haswell but it remains to be seen how well I stick to that.
Which brings me I suppose to how I got here, which is off the back of Tom's youtube vids, like many others I guess, so hello Overclock3D and thanks Tom for all the great vids.
See you around
