Hi from Canada everybody.
Brand new to the forums, and to PC building in general -- I've tap danced around the edges of the scene for a while, but haven't had the resources or time to put together my own rig. Well, due to a number of reasons I'm now just putting together the finishing budget for a new rig (desperately need one now, as I'm writing this on a laptop so old I think it uses Betamax for storage), and I'm lurking around forums trying to absorb as much know-how as I can before the orders finally go out.
So, you know, expect a profoundly ignorant question or two in the next couple of months and be gentle, okay?
