Graphisc Card Question

Hi All,

Quick question:

I've OC my gigabyte GTX 580 SOC using the the guru utility, I've saved the settings and applying them. Will my card run at the OC 24/7 or if only if my games etc push it to that OC...

The reason I'm asking is because when I run some of my games and have CPU-Z open (on the GPU tab) it only goes to the stock settings...

Any advice would be most appreciated.

does the app have an "apply on start up" option?

only you might need to click that so it sets your oc every time you turn your pc on, or you do it yourself everytime.

looks like I need the guru to be running in the background for the OC settings to work....

use after burner its better and keeps the settings you input. As with most apps if ya close them the settings are not there simply because you closed it. if the app isnt open it cant apply settings lmao.

Use Guru at first to establish stability then use AB is it's stable to keep it that way and as for the workload dependant clocking, it remains even when OC'd; your card will still have seperate clocks in place for idle, video, high res video and 3D.

Yes, you will have to keep it running in systray for this to work
