Hey guys,

apologize if this is posted in the wrong place!

I recently got my self a msi nvidia gtx 570 frozr III, upgraded from a ATI Raedon HS 5670!

But for some bizarre reason I'm getting a horribly low fps on games like SC2, i get around 12 FPS on Max settings @ 1920 x 1080.

Rig

Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.30GHZ

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-800GM-UD2H

Memory: Mushkin Blackline - 16GBS

PSU: unsure of the Brand but its 650W

My Graphics drivers are up to date, even did a clean install of windows 7 to see if that would help, but I'm still getting an insanely low FPS but i ( Correction - it was a solid 60 now around the 28 - 40 region)

I'm really stumped in terms of what could be wrong and i think it's pointing to my Motherboard!??

Anyway, if you need any more information ask away!

*sigh, hope theirs a way i can fix this!

Thanks

IRK

Im no expert by a long shot but it could be your psu.The HD 5670 draws a max of 61 watts, the GTX 570 draws 219 watts. The psu is a 650w but its probs only 400-450w in real terms plus with all the other stuff connected the card might be struggling for maximum power. But as i said im no expert

1 - Install msi afterburner

2 - In Afterburner click on settings \ monitoring - Select the following to be highlighted in OSD - GPU TEMP, GPU USAGE, CORE CLOCK, FRAMERATE

3 - In Afterburner click on settings \ screen capture - choose a key like f11 to take a screen shot and make your screenshot folder your desktop and quality 100 percent.

4 - Start up your game and get to a point where you are experiencing slow frame rates and take a screen shot using F11

4 - Come back here and post the image using imageshack or similar so we can have a look whats going on with your card.
