Grand Canyon, Tightrope, Pole, and no safety measures

I understand why people do this kind of thing, but I don't understand why they do it with out safety precautions.
One wrong move, a sudden gust of wind and many other things that could happen and bye, you're dead.

Not worth dying just to prove you can do it.

I know that dude but you still get that dose of adrenaline from doing it anyway.
Doing things like this are great, but at least make sure your not going to die if you fall. :)

I think it's funny he's thanking jesus while risking his life, the irony is way too damn high. No offence to anyone ofcourse.

yeah seems a bit odd to put your life at risk then thanking Jesus when you don't die, my parents are Christian and i think they would think the same tbh.

Risking the life is the whole point of it, the guy's so damn sure he'll make it that he bets his life, and that's what makes the whole difference. Hundreds could try and actually succeed, but how many so certain as to bet their own life? One.

Not that I agree, I'd never risk my life for such a cause, but I see the point he tries to make.
