Good OC mobo

Hi, I'm going to upgrade my i5-661 to a 4770k, but for that I will need to replace my motherboard as well. I want to reach high OC's, and I don't like the looks of the G1 sniper at all. It has to be a ATX mobo as I'm planning to purchase the Phanteks Enthoo Primo.

Also, I'd fancy a blue-themed rig, so that's making it quite difficult. I could get the Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H, other suggestions, anyone? If it's a really big difference in performance I could go for a red-themed rig with the Maximus Hero or something, but red-themed rigs are very mainstream..

Thanks!

Per TTL's testing on Z87 boards theres not alot of differences on ocability across the brands. I'd find a decent one that will fit your builds color scheme

Most 1150's top out about 4.6 tbh matey. Overclocking has changed a lot this gen.

Yeah, heard that in your Z87 UD4H review/OC results video. Since it has exactly the same specs as the UD3H, will the results be the same? (not taking the differences between 4770k's in account)

Results? If you mean overclocking then its already been answered above. All the Z87 boards have maxed my 4770k out. Its all down to your talents though but all boards are capable of doing it.

Heh, right
Do you have any experience with overclocking a i5-661? I'd guess not, since you have the good stuff, lol. I managed to OC it to 4Ghz with the stock cooler, will upgrade very soon.

And are the features of the boards the same? As far as I can tell the boards are the same and the only difference would be the looks.
