Cheers Image Shack

It means that you can use an AGP 8 x card on a PCI-E motherboard. Ideal for those who can't afford to replace it all at once!! :D

Cool...Something doesn't look quite right there tho....

Is the graphics card pictured a low profile one or something?

Hang on...wtf....thats gotta be photoshop trickery...

Agreed its a small card but if this actually works then I'll be looking into 939! :)

Only thing is that current cards (say 6800) are exactly the width of the slot, and in most cases the width of your computer case (maybe minus a couple of cm).

This convertor looks to extend the cards length by about another 7cm, which would mean, most people wouldnt be able to close their case doors.

You mean height? Looks the same length as the card to me! :eh:

At the moment, yes...because its using a low profile graphics card.....

Attach it to a full sized graphics card, such as the 6800, and its gonna be a lot lot bigger....

Like attached (sorry for crappy pic)
