Whats considered a good SSD to be used as a main boot drive? My budget i would say is £150-200 but could push it up a tad if it means some performance increase...

And then whats a good secondary drive? i want it to be 1tb atleaste but the more the merrier without breaking the bank...

cheers! :)

Is the budget for both?

If so, a 120/128 GB SSD from Crucial, Intel or Samsung would be ideal. For the hard-drive I would grab a WD Caviar Black.

A 128 GB Crucial M4 and a 1 TB Caviar Black = ~£160 (From Scan) :D

I'd go with a 256GB M4/830 and a 2TB Caviar Green.

Edit: From what I understand, the £200 budget is for the SSD alone. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong, however.

yeah sorry guys the £200 budget was for the SSD alone the hdd is just to be reasonably priced and 2tb sounds enough to me ;)

also i seen a decent priced V4 (CT256V4SSD2) is that a no go over the m4?
