Good in-ear headphone for music?

I really need to get an arm band for my phone or a handlebar mount, they get tugged or the plug gets bent around in my pocket.. by riding I mean "RIDING" none of this road riding nonsense, I hit the trails and pretty hard too. ;)

That is the perk of Shure. You can just replace the cable and the earphones keep pumping music :D

While on the topic of headphones, do any of you 'burn-in' your headphones? I read about this a number of years ago, downloaded a free program to do this. Basically it runs through different frequencies constantly for as long as you set it, I did 24 hours, and found it made a noticeable in sound quality.

In-ear, less so, but definitely anything decent in the higher end cans certainly. It helps to make all the membranes and whatnot more supple and such. Despite people claiming it's complete hockum, it's not and what does it hurt to do it anyway?

It's the same with speakers, esp ones with kevlar cones. Best way for them is to make them face each other wire them up in opposing polarity (so they cancel each other out) wrap em in a blanket and turn them up to 11 for a few hours, does them the world of good

I did this with a set of Panasonic in ear headphones that were $200.00 CA, it made a world of difference on these.
