I need some advice, I currently have a Ocz Vindicator - http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/cooling_products/ocz_vindicator_cpu_cooler fitted to my Q6600 on a Gigabyte P35 DS4 motherboard.

The main problem I have with the Vindicator is due to all the heatsinks surrounding the DS4 cpu socket its hard to mount the fan for the heatsink, at present its sitting covering 2 of the 4 memory slots. I did have 4 *1gb sticks then changed to 2*2gb sticks but because I want to run the memory to run in dual channel mode the fan is sitting right above one memory stick and not as lower as it should be.

I know most of the best heatsinks around use the fan mounted on the side.

What I want is people to recommend me a decent heatsink which can fit the DS4 board without any problems and also give excellent cooling for my Q6600.

i use the freezer 7 pro myself, but the tuniq tower is good. i would think they would fit, not sure what you mean tbh though

Hi, thanks for the replys so far. I am only considering air cooled for now. I have been looking at the ThermalTake Big Typhoon or would consider something similar.

Though ide check the website.

I have been looking around other forums and the Tuniq Tower 120 seems to be one of the best heat sinks around. Also I have found a few who have fitted this to a Gigabye P35 DS4 motherboard.

I also think this is going to be my best option.
