Sold my 1090T, Crosshair IV, 4gb og kingston 1600mhz ram 8-8-8-24, and a really loud zalman CNPS9900A LED. The new prize for the 1090T and the crosshair is 527$ and im getting 351$ when i sell it. Im throwing in some old stuff with it to make the offer a bit more interesting. With this money im getting the 2500k and the maximus geneZ, and i only have to pay 150$ extra. Feel like ive done a good sale, since the 2500k is better and can be built in a smalle chassis.

Been really happy with the 1090T, but i had 965BE before with one of the first am3 mobos, and they both got RMA.

I could have kept the old stuff, especially the mobo and cpu. Still think i did a smart choice with selling it for that priz?

Not bad at all. Is that the HyperX memory you had before? The timings look great.

Is the 2500K and the Asus Maximus 4 Gene-Z going into another system since the P8P67-M Pro and another 2500K will be in the TJ08-E right?

Ive dcides(slightly drunk, but i noticed it) to use the 2500k, gene-z, DH-14, TJ08-E in the lan rig/server/spareone

Yeah the timings are really good for that, but i need more then 4gb. i actually have 6 gb of that, since ive ordered wrong kit first time ive built a custom pc.

You're drunk; what time is it in Norway?

That's cool too. I'd very much like to build a new sytem for myself in the TJ08-E. The amount of space that little case would save is just brilliant. I was thinking about the Fractal Design Define Mini, but I think I'll go with the TJ08-E instead. Still struggling to decide whether or not I should get a mATX or ATX board. This means the chasis will have to fit an ATX board if I decide on an ATX over the mATX.

Gigabyte needs to make some mATX boards for the P67 series. They've got, I think, 2 out for the Z68 series. D2H and the UD2H I believe. Not sure if they're good for OC-ing though?

Its 01.00 after midnight here. :-D

Really like the fractal also, but the SS TJ08-E is brilliant i tink. Never had a Gigabyte MB so im not sure. :-)

Only reason i build the m-atx now is that i want a lan rig for hollidays. I can get that and a great galaxy android for same amount i would need to pay for a good laptop.

Ya, the Mini looks really nice and it supports USB 3.0 also so that's a good addition. I'm still leaning towards the TJ08-E.

Hey, that's a good plan. You're going to get the Galaxy S2? Maybe I should get a Gene-Z also. Seems like you'll have to decide between the P8P67-M Pro and the Gene-Z.

Yeah the Z68 offers to may things that the P67 doesnt. Lucid virtu that enable different gpu's, ISR(intel smart response, the poor mans ssd choice :-)) overclocking and graphics. Its all nice. I read that Pci-e 3.0 is launching real soon, so u might wanna wait a fairly bit longer before u buy one.

I was thinking about the galaxy SII, but i want a bit bigger thing. Been waiting for the samsung note or the tabs with larger hdd spaqce

Lucid Virtu is pretty cool, but I think I'll prefer my video card to handle everything for me. Intel Smart Response Technology is a great option for those who don't want to spend a fortune on high capacity SSDs. It really works and you do feel a difference in the mechanical drive response when a 30GB+ SSD is used as a cache.

I doubt I'll be getting a PCI-E 3.0 video card anytime soon. Maybe in another yr's time. The current video cards are more than enough for me. But, for benchmarking it will definitely make a lot of difference. A mid range mATX board that's not too expensive would be great. That way when it's time to change over to native PCI-E 3.0 boards, it will be an easy transition.

Oh I see. The Galaxy S2 is a great phone. There's just too many to choose from. I'll stick with building a new system for myself.
