My old thread got a little bit messed up, some posts were moved to the beginning and whatnot - Decided to make a new one and show you guys the updates since I first got it.

Updates - New mouse, mousepad. (Deathadder + QPAD XT-R) - Hardly anything but it cost me 60 bob. :p

I'll keep you guys updated, should be getting some more goodies this weekend. :)

very nice setup. I just got rid of my antec 900 it was a great case. I like the desk your using. All the blue leds look really good!

Cant beat a nice tidy setup, any pics of your rigs insides??? would be nice to see the belly of the beast.

I like the way youe stuck to blue blue and more blue. Themed PC FTW BABY!!!

Thanks for the comments guys! Is it really that tidy?!

The cables at the back really get on my nerves sometimes, going to get hold of some cable ties and fasten all the wires together like I did with my old P4.

Yeah sure. Not taken many pictures of the computers insides for a while, got quite dusty and had to give it a clean over with some compressed air. Here's a couple from a while back, sorry about the dust!

Yeah love it :)

One thing, with your current CPU cooler config.. surely it is better to have a push-pull fan operation? IE bolt another fan on it on the bottom and then push air in, and have the other one shoving out or is the one at the top already pulling air through it?

Yeah i've got a double fan config. The 120mm is pulling air out of the heatsink into the 200mm which is pushing air out. I'll check for other configs as to how I can change the fan around to get better temperatures. Thanks for the mention though, might convince me to do some messing around. ;)

Got a choice on my hand boys and girls. Tomorrow (hopefully) I'll be going to Scan and picking up some new goodies for the computer. These are;

- X-Fi XtremeGamer

- Creative Fatal1ty Headset

- Razer PROTONE m100 Earphones

I can either get the X-Fi or the two headsets. The second pair of headphones are for my iPod.

Summary - Is the X-Fi Xtreme Gamer much of an improvement over the Audigy SE? Will I notice a big difference?

LOL I can't afford a sound card yet.. don't need it either to be quite honest, I got one of the best onboard sounds ever made so I am not too worried :)

MSI P35 Neo2-FR by the way, one of the best onboard sounds ever ;)

Haha yeah, was talking to GeneralChris over Xfire and he had to cope with onboard for a while after his XtremeGamer decided not to work. Its back working now, so he's all good. :)

Can't wait for this X-Fi!!! :D

Very nice. I don't need it to be honest but it is a nice thing to have.. makes your rig look all the more better with it in there! I hope that it impresses you as much as you hope ;)

Sorry its so late.. had fun configuring all of the options and messing around with voice chat.

The Verdict -

Haven't noticed a big difference quality wise but it gives me heaps more volume and bass than the Audigy did. The speakers may account for no change in quality.

The headphones are awesome and very comfortable. Although when they're at max volume for short periods of time they can give you an instant headache (me anyway).

Very nice mate, I thought you where going for the upper model of that which comes in a red box, my mistake.

Enjoy, I hope you do any ways :D

I am already! ;)

You must be talking about the Titanium Fatal1ty Professional or whatever its called. Thats way too expensive for my budget!
