Hi Guys,
I've just tried to access the for sale / wanted area to reply to a couple of posts and i cant access that section, I'm still getting the emails.
jamed2017, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

 1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
 2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Also I disagree with the 100 posts rule for buying and selling. I'm a part-timer with this PC business and I don’t really know enough to follow this forum and actively contribute. I use this forum for advice from those who know more than me and I appreciate said advice. I'm not one to be constantly tweaking my rig as I don’t have the time or the money to do so and on the occasions I do, I generally ask on here for help. I've been a member here for 18 months and at this rate its going to be 3/4 years! I can understand why the rule exists to make sure that oc3d members benefit from the section but I only want some casters for my case!

Its fine either way, I do understand. I'm just more curious, if it is moderation a pm would be nice just so you know. Instead I spent a good 10 minutes searching through the boards as i couldnt find the section. In the end it was only when i tried clicking through the link in the emails that i go the above message. The rule has to be there IMO, otherwise there would be a load of people signing up just to either sell or buy and for all we know they might take people's money nad not end the item

Yeh, it's mainly there to make it a more trustworthy community for buying and selling. So you know, I did PM a mod to ask about selling the things to you. I didnt get a reply but now this so I'm guessing that's the answer.

You only need 80 posts man, you'll be able to make that in a couple of days - and i dont mean by spamming! You'll have enough knowledge to answer the majority of posts on here. Half of them arent even related to computers :)

I think what I'm trying to say is, I read a lot of the stuff posted on this forum and OC3D & the YouTube page. This forum is my go to place if I need advice. I think it's fairly clear - I've been a member for a while now - I'm not attempting to scam anyone.

My post count is low for 2 reasons: 1. I don't contribute to posts - I don't contribute to posts because 95% of the time I can't add anything constructive. 2. A lot of the questions I have can be answered with the search function.

I agree there should be some kind of vetting in place but I think time registered should count for something?

It's cool guys, I've got plans to water cool my rig over the summer so i'm sure thats going to involve a fair bit of q+a. Might aswell add an RSS to the browser aswell.

I'll get there in the end!

Just keep it going now. We're friendly enough, you'll be able to contribute and help others, and at least give your thoughts on things. I'd got the FS&W thread unlocked after like 3 days. i do agree that time should be a factor as well, maybe a PM to a mod will help with that, but i dunno.
