Was just telling Tox I was a gig tonight and then decided to take a pic of something I've put together over the last few years.

Figured I'd share it with you lot and see who you have been to see.

Oh yeah tonight's gig was We are scientists. I've also got a third board about 3/4s full... Haven't got around to hanging it yet (lazy). And yes I have a slightly varied taste.

Hopefully im getting this right since im American, but my band has been doing a few gigs. No pics though cause not alot of fans with cameras. No offense to them but i dont think were good enough to actualy invite our real friends to come see us. I have pics of me and my dads band playing at my sisters bday party but that was from January. I look different now.

Love the ticket boards, Bungy! ;)

I hardly ever go to gigs.. last one was last year in the Albert Hall, went to see Eric Clapton. :D

Rock Am Ring in Germany, usually in Maytime but june this year (typical as i am in germany from 12 - 22 may). I have been a few times and its Brill.

no pics but here are this years bands link

Fran from Travis bought me a pint last time I was there. ;)

Been to other concerts but dont keep tickets and listing would take a while.

METALLICA! :o

Yup Avenged Sevenfold played with those guys in Berlin Germany. Metallica invited them on stage to jam to a Ramones tune with them. Was awesome tbh.

My last one was either faithless or alexisonfire/saosin

Ahhh I love Faithless live... Seen them 3 or 4 times now. Headlining V Fest two years ago was something else!!

Seen Pendulum once before... Wanna see them again as they are just class.

Can't be arsed with Glasto to be honest.. If I wanted a swim I'd go down the leisure centre.

Not sure about posting all the gigs I've ever been to, but the best gigs I've been to so far have been Rammstein gigs

Flames everywhere, amazing atmosphere, brilliant sound.

Bands/Artists I can remember seeing: Marilyn Manson, Fear Factory, Godhead, Queens Of The Stoneage, Nightwish, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, Thunder, Dio, Iron Maiden, Trivium, LA Guns, Joe Satriani

Seen lots more, but those have been the most memorable.

Pendulum came to a DNB event thingy near us. They were ok but i was wayyyy too knackered from all the other DNb happenings to really psych out lol

Man oh man do i enjoy gigs.

Reading 3 times - these were some of the best weekends of my life.

Give It A Name twice.

Maybe Groezrock this year.

Saw Pendulum, stayed for exactly 8 minutes. Too many pillheads and glowsticks in therefor my liking.

My last gig was a chap called Akala.. Now he's a London rapper/grime artist or whatever.. but he was real good. A real somethin special about him, flair, pinache, and a hella-energetic show. www.myspace.com/akalamusic - listen to the first song that plays, its great.

Seen Metallica, Alexis, Pennywise, Goldfiner, Murphy's, ALK3, Jurassic 5, Mr Scruff, argh, i cant remember. I've got a shoe box full of tickets somewhere from the last 3 years or so..

All i know is i've spent sooo much money on music.

lookin forward to seeing bon jovi in june and i think the feeling r supporting so should be good. Me and jim being up close to lily allen last year was pretty cool (tho she was abit stuck up)

hehe loving the ignorance, but when you finally broaden your horizons and stray away from the commercial giant gig that is V fest, and experience something like glasto, you will realise that weather makes sod all difference :p

plud its gonna be a scorcher this year :p

Broaden my horizons?? You seen what's on those board?

Ahhh the great word that is commercial... In other words anything that end up popular?

I see bands in the new bands tents that haven't had charting singles yet and that's fine.. But as soon as they become popular when people realise they actually made decent music they become "commercial"... Perfect.

Not ignorance either... Just not for me.

i meant broaden your horizons AWAY from music. glastonbury is so much more than music, nothing like V. i seriously encourage you to try it, and not expect it to be like V, because it isnt.

im not questioning your commitment to new bands, or even music in general, it just seems like something you would probably find amazing, and your previous comment shows that you have no idea what it actually is.

as for commercial, i dont mean things that end up popular, i mean things that have priority number 1 to getting the most money out of every attendee, something which sadly most gigs, and especially more commercial festivals such as V/Reading/Leeds seem to encompass at the moment.

if you dont want to go, thats fine lol, more space for me, i was merely pointing out that your stereotypical (i refrain from using the word ignorant) views may be stopping you from going to what someone like you may enjoy more than anything else on your (rather impressive) noticeboard.

emma, the feeling are brilliant live, one of the better live bands around at the moment.

They have an awesome sound guy. Ive setup the stage and gear for them once here in the Smirnoff Music Center. The pyro guys really know what they are doing. It was awesome watching them setup everything for the show.

My stereotypical views?? Only thing I've said about it was it was wet and lets be honest, it has been!!

I don't dislike the festival and disagree with people berating it just because Jay Z is going... I don't even like him but that's crazy talk.. Plenty of other music to enjoy.. Just at the moment for what I like to do I'm happy. I have never ruled out going in the future but for now it's not for me.
