Just put this machine together yesterday and fired it up this morning. Spent a good 10+ hours working on cable management alone till I was happy lol.. Have a gaze through the pics and let me know whatcha think:) Oh still waiting on the 8 pin cpu connector extension cable to re route that behind the mobo tray and still some work left to do up by the 200mm exhaust fan but all in all I m happy with the initial build so far. Side panel window mod will be next, so stay tuned for updates in the future :P

Just a quick youtube video here:

that looks real nice fella, but dont you have a dual channel board?

what are your temps like using that cooler, get some OCing done fella

Temps are pretty low, playing any games it doesnt go past 38 degrees Celcius. Gonna Oc real soon and run some stress tests. As for my memory i have DDR3 dominator and I thought they are the correct slots?

Whats best for stress tests these days anyways? prim95 or cpu burn or something?

OCCT and prime 95 are your best bet fella, just make sure your max temp doesent go over 60c-65c,you should be ok to hit 3.8Ghz or even 3.9Ghz just using the CPU multi.

oryt i thought u put it in A1 nd B1 you have it in A1 A2.

I know the 955 BE has alot of OCing potential, should i just start by using the multiplier in the bios? Not bothering with voltage or FSB etc?

SHould I use some AMD software utility to OC?

yer just up the multi in the BIOS i uped mine to 18 and left the bus at 200Mhz never touched it,and also i uped the NB multi.

you can use AMD software if u want but its just best to use the BIOS IMO it can be more stable

then run OCCT for about 8hrs if it passes then its all good, also play some games aswell that support multicore that can stress it.

and you could run 3dmark06 aswell as its very CPU intensive

what version is your CPU fella C2 or C3 it will tell you in CPUZ

ok well the maximum voltage for your CPU is 1.45v.

what is your voltage ATM?

good temps, keep it below 60-65c full load and your good

no,what have you set it to in the bios?

check HWmonitor and CPUZ

the voltage in OCCT can change up and down

With CPU Z it saying 1.088, but the Cpu FHZ is still relaying 803 mhz? must be a bug. Picture att.

Dled HWmonitor, tried out coretemp and it reflected teh 803 mhz again...I could refresh it then it displayed it properly then shot back down to 803, super weird.

yer that is strange especialy for them both to display it,have you got cool&quiet enabled if so disable it

and tweakcontroll

so what have you set it to in the BIOS voltage wise

Its on auto optimization right now for voltage, 18x multiplier stable @ 3.6ghz np's as expected IF iwanna take it to 3.8 what should i up everything else too? voltage, NB x etc?

Hmm since Ive disabled CoolnQuiet my Vcore shot up to 1.47 which is around max, I have it set to normal in bios tho, what gives? Should I go into bios and shed some voltage from the cpu?

Pics att.

I also changed my power options to High performance, should I put it back to balanced? I noticed when I changed it back to balanced the system crashed and when I got back into windows the setting was still on high performance.

I would make sure the BIOS setting were actually saved. Also try just bumping the Vcore down one or two notches at a time until it isn't stable. Then just bump it up one and you should be good to go. I'm no AMD guy, but 1.47 seems really high for 3.6ghz...

Ya something got messed up when I set my power options to High performance, Im bumping it down now by a few notches. I had it stable @ 3.6 ghz at 1.09 Volts yesterday and this morning. Tho i may want to keep it around 1.47 if im going to 3.8 ghz, Ill see :) But as far as voltages 1.47V is norm for teh C3.
