Gigabyte z77 Sniper 3 power saving

So i am overclocking my 3770k with my old stock brand new z77 board.

I noticed that if you put digits on the cpu vcore it gives the fixed voltage even while idling. The frequency goes down but still the same voltage.

I watched some other oc tutorial and the other method i saw was to set in auto and change the turbo boost multiplier per core to a certain amount that way it would idle with low voltage but in load it gave my cpu a vcore of 1.414 and i immidiately turned it off and trashed that way of overclocking. Worst idea ever.

Im previously an Asrock user, Both are easy to overclock but the problem with the gigabyte is the fixed voltage on vcore.

Any Gigabyte pro user who can help me? TIA :)))
