Gigabyte Z68 UD4 With 3 Slot GPU + Soundcard?

*Sorry if this is in the wrong board, i wasn't sure weather to pout it here or in graphics cards*

Does anybody know if the a 3 slot graphics card such as (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280...ddr5-gpu-742mhz-480-cores-2x-dl-dvi-i-dp-hdmi) installed in a Gigabyte Z68 UD4 (https://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecial...DDR3+PCI-Express+Motherboard+?productId=45264) would leave the second pci 16x slot free for me to install a sound card?

Also if that isn't possible then would the Gainward GeForce GTX 570 Phantom (http://www.scan.co.uk/products/1280...5-gpu-750mhz-shader-1600mhz-480-cores-dp-hdmi) be a good alternative to the graphics card mentioned Earlier in this post.

EDIT: Would having a sound card so close to the fan intakes for the graphics card be an issue?

the triple slot card would cover both pcie 1x slots but you can use the 2 other pcie 16x and 4x for soundcard....i guess its better to use the 4x so your gpu wont go to 8x

if it was me id go with the gainward if you ever go sli your cards will have breathing room

The two bottom slots are legacy pci so I cant use them. and i thought the gpu would only go to 8x if the 2nd 16x slot was populated by another gpu? How would i be able to tell if the gpu was in 8x mode if i put the soundcard in the 2nd 16x slot?

GPU-z would tell you if its 8x or 16x

ok so get the dual slot GPU and use the 2nd 1x slot for sound card

triple clot cards are so bleh!
