Gigabyte RTX 4080 Aero Review

I'd say this is the best looking 4000 series to date IMO, Smexy as hell, Love me some white GPU's !

The price though is disgusting and every reviewer should be calling it out.

What's not to like?

rotfl.... the uncritical thinking in the reviews here puzzles me.

it´s 1% more performance for 1% more dollars.... hurra what an achievement.

Imagine where we'll be in ten years time. Crazy.

maybe at 4000$ for a middle class GPU and 5000$ for a H-RTX x080 TI?

I have to agree. The conclusion really confused me.

The standard 4080 from Gigabyte is £1449 from CCL.

I guess the Aero might be even more.

It's official, the world has gone mad, and anyone who buys one is filthy rich or just as mad.

The Strix and a couple of others are the same RRP as the 4090 :D

Who on earth would buy an overclocked 4080 at the same price as the 4090?
I guess that's why the 3rd parties are getting p'eed off.

Nah. It is actually them that is making them cost this much.

The 4080 uses exactly the same cooler as the Strix 4090. That means that cost is passed onto you for that cooler. I guess it saves them money in tooling and designing a smaller cooler, but yeah....

This is why my 6700XT Strix cost so much. Because it uses the same cooling as a 3080Ti strix ffs.
