People have been adding Vram to GPU's for a while, wasn't there a guy on YouTube that added an extra 8G or something to a 2080Ti?

The lack of Vram is pure greed but also I am glad of it at times because it means developers have to at least try to hide their inability to optimise games these days.

Crysis 3 looks better than most games released in the last 10 years, still punishes the GPU's but runs better than nearly all games on the market.

Probably all the Chinese scammers who were stripping chips and reballing new ones albeit replacing 4080s/4090s with budget 4060s were arrested and suddenly employed by a company doing the exact same thing, but in a more positive light.

I think it was a Russian modder to be honest who did it but iirc most don't work.
