Gigabyte OC Guru II won't start.

I just purchased a Gigabyte 970 Extreme GPU and wanted to change the LED and the only way is through the OC Guru II software.

However I cannot get the software to run, it will not run at all.

I have Windows 10 64bit with the latest Nvidia drivers of 361.43.

For the moment I have turned off the LED in Geforce Experience.

Has anyone had the same problem and found a solution.

Thanks

Did you have any other programs trying to access the GPU at the same time?

Did you use DDU to do a fresh install of the drivers?

Have you had the chance to try on W8.1?

Have you tried to control the LED after doing a clean driver install without GeForce Experience etc installed except the bare minimum driver?

Hi I was not running anything may CAM from NZXT.

I did use DDU and did a fresh install of the latest driver version.

I only have once PC so now change to try 8.1

I could try uninstall using DDU and then install OC Guru 2 and see if it works.

Probably give the last one a shot prior to reverting to 8.1 to check.

Have you also tried right clicking then running as an admin? Sounds silly but who knows.

Oc Guru isnt the most stable one around if anythign it is probably the worst one.

Yes the Extreme does have the ability to change the colour.

I have turned the lights off with Geforce Experience for the moment, but you would think a big company like Gigabyte could write a piece of software that actually runs, if not give people the info to update manually.

I have downloaded MSI Afterburner to overclock with but just needed the OC Guru to change the LED.

I have tried different drivers and also uninstalling all drivers and running then and nothing gets it running.
