Gigabyte GTX-580 (3GB) overclock.

Hey Guys,

First time GPU overclocker here and wouldn't mind opinions and thoughts on my overclock. Is there more left to be done for the gtx 580? I overclocked this based on a guide and found it to be stable on heaven benchmark 3.0 (scored 960), max temp reached under 65 deg.

Core voltage - 1100

Core clock - 915

Memory clock - 2100

been playing bf3 and its been unstable.. :/

New settings:

Core voltage - 1100

Core clock - 875

Memory clock - 2050

See how that goes..

Not really happy with it actually. I run it through heaven stress test program and its fine, I play bf3 and it crashes. Anyone with this card recommend me settings I should be running?

Also what are you guys using to stress test the gpu?

For stress test use Furmark or MSI Kombustor.

Other peoples settings wont help though because every chip is different, so yours might need more or less volts that others or you might not be able to push your clock or mem as high.

EDIT

I have read that you can't push the memory on the 3gb 580s as much as you can on the 1.5gb ones so try lowering your mem clock a bit.

I can get away with:

1v for 860

mem at 2050

These are 580 phantoms, 3GB, needs tonnes more volts for anything higher.
