Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5 or EVGA Z68 FTW?

I've been really looking about for a system upgrade for quite a while now, as im still running a core2 duo and it's reaching it's limits quite more often than it did back in 2008. I've been keeping track on reviews and opinions on these 2 motherboards and I couldn't really make my own mind up. Currently the evga Z68 ftw is £200 from scan and the gigabyte z68 ud5 from aria is £129. I'm most likely going to buy a 2600k to put in it, maybe the 2700k if i feel like showing off

. Anyway, between the two I'm looking for the best possible performance with overclocking and good stability. Are there any draw backs or flaws with either of these boards? What are you opinions?

Okay. I've had a quick look at the gen3 motherboards, but I can't see many 'high end' ones just yet. Out of the three manufacturers which currently make gen3 motherboards (msi, asus and asrock) they've been ruled out of my choice. Asus and asrock are out mainly because I've had so much past trouble with asus throughout 478 and 775 dats, I don't really want to take that risk again because i was always uncertain whether it would work or not work. Msi have been a great successor afaik, but I don't really like their style in their products and don't currently have an extreme board which supports gen3 on the market. Asrock seemed to be the only producer with a high-end gen3 mobo but as i stated above that's my only reason against them. If pci-e 3 is going to be out soon then i will probably wait until z77 and the ivy processors to get the full support together. If more gen3 motherboards are released early next year I'll probably just pass as it won't be that long away before the z77 release. Anyway, thanks for the points and guidance all
