Gigabyte Dual 6800GT Vid Card... Now that's a big ass heatsink!

Nah I'm actually thinking about getting a pair of 512mb GTX's for the new rig once it's put together just to keep everything up to date. Still pondering that idea though. That's over $1400 just for a pair of video cards, lollers.

Wow, they're selling these at newegg? Apparently this idea never really caught on and I know ASUS's are damn scarce. Even the dual 7800GT that performed better than a GTX didn't catch on. Now you have that thing costs about $800-$1000 and have to get it from a foreign country like the Czech Republic and South Africa :p

Edit: O damn! I just noticed that Newegg is selling the ASUS dual 7800GT! Damn wicked! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121213

Edit2: Also a thing to note about SLIing these babies is that they don't have the top goldfingers for the SLI bridge. Apparently it still works all right (Tom's Hardware did it, link will be at end of comment) but Nvidia doesn't really have any drivers. You have to use the drivers that come with the card. Haha, don't worry man, as far as I know they just barely sprung up here. Before you had to order from the Czech Republic or South Africa or something like that :D
