while i was busy leak testing, stopping my ear bleeding from a 2900XT air cooler, installing bits and pieces.....me HTPC started playing up....weird....
sooooo.......i noticed temps are warm....and me trusty D805 running stock clocks hitting 55c idle and NB resting at 45c.........i DID thought it'll go pop soon, pop as meaning dead......
but it didnt!
its now doing these weird things:-
stuck at POST, just after Ram check.....wont see HD....have to reboot a few times to sort it out
stuck at POST, can find SOME USB stuff.....like hubs, keyboards, combo drive?, then it'll just stay there doing nothing, reboot with a few USB taken out and it works
go all the way into window XP, whatever i try to do with a USB flash drive, external HDD drive it just plain wont read it, keep saying unable to read from source or what not....wont write to USB, cant read from USB
cleared CMOS, format and reinstall, still no good......
hmmmmmmm
could the heat have made the MB or CPU limp?
