Hi guys, this is my first post here, although I've been reading this forum for some time now.
My rig is:
CPU: Intel Core i5 750, stock cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte P55-UD3R
RAM: Geil Black Dragon 2x2 GB DDR3 kit (PC3 12800 1600MHz CL 8-8-8-28)
GPU: Leadtek GeForce GTX 260 Extreme +
PSU: Chieftek 600 W, 80+
...
I have problem running RAM modules on specified speed. Default settings in BIOS are 1333 MHz with 7-7-7-24 CL for RAM, and 20 x 133 MHz for CPU. When I turn on XMP to "Profile1", I get specified clock, voltage and latency for RAM modules (which is 1600MHz, 8-8-8-28, 1.6V), but CPU settings automatically change to 16 x 160 MHz. Computer won't turn on with those settings, and after a few settings I get a message on screen that BIOS loaded default settings 'cause it could not boot with a new one...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Stefan
