Hey Guys, I updated to this beta version, so far it works fine apart from the driver randomly crashing with Windows Aero, sometimes I can minimize an app and my screen will go blank and when it comes back it says the driver crashed.

I have a GTX 460, anyone else had any similar issues?

I Have 2 8800GTS 512 in SLI, this happens to me also, but only when playing Minecraft and it happens very rarely, and once in Photoshop. I am NOT on Beta 280.19 drivers.

Firstly NEVER run beta Nvidia drivers. I lost my GTX 280 to beta drivers. Basically they screwed up the fan controls meaning your fan sat at low speed. I was playing Dirt when all of a sudden -

Then I would get the same thing you are. Move the mouse and the driver would crash and be recovered. Basically my card was screwed. Due to it being an XFX who had since switched to team red I got screwed on the trade in. A 280 XXX for a 5770

Needless to say I learned two things.

1. Never use beta drivers, wait for WHQL or whatever it's called.

2. Never buy XFX.

I'm using the beta drivers, not had a single issue. In actual fact, I was meant to uninstall them as I had a change of heart, must have forgotten.

I find with my GTX 460 when MSI afterburner kept holding my fan back during games soon as the card hit 90 degrees the ran rampt right up to 100%, guess its a fail safe setting in the cards bios to save it from it's death.

I used beta dricers a while back, never used them again, just friged everything up, i ended up doing a complete OC reinstall.
