Gaming industry forever destroyed

i worked for a d2 item shop in the past, the auction house does not annoy me in the slightist.

if blizzard does not take the market, the scumbag scammers will.

items are NOT bound to characters, therefore they can be traded around willy nilly.

For one, Diablo isn't an MMO. I never said nothing outside of Diablo exists, but you're just stating stupid things to help your arguement. I'm done with this discussion, because you can't even understand how utterly stupid your points are. There isn't an aggro system in Diablo, it's a hack and slash. You left and right click, things die. You don't even know how the game works, or how gear affects it, yet you have the balls to comment on a system that's been implemented, that any core Diablo player will say is a fantastic idea. The amount of times I've had countless items drop that I can't use, nor have any use for, and just sold to a vendor, and now I can sell them to other people and make more profit? That sounds like a great idea.

They aren't telling you to subscribe, it's your choice. If you don't want to do it, then go ahead, don't. You just all sound like a bunch of people that are trying to find something to whinge about, considering you actually don't have a clue about the game, or how the economy/gear system actually runs.

FYI, there aren't areas that you need to group for. The whole game can be completed solo.

You're arguing with yourself buddy. I have no idea why.

Oh come on man where's the Orville Redenbacher?

Well the way you say it Endzy, Diablo is Hack'n'Slash; A GEAR typed game. PvP will be utter crap, after only a short while ( 2-4 Weeks ) prices for gear will hit rock bottom and everyone will be uber. Blizz will release a patch either removing the real-money auction house or adding TONS (I mean TONS) of new gear rendering all that shit you just bought...Useless... I'm sure Blizz will end this madness right after the shit hits the fan.

You really have no clue about that game, at all. It isn't about gear at all, until you get to a high level, say 85+. You will find a lot of the classes will be doing most their damage from skills. How will PvP be crap if everyone is equally geared and it requires skill? That's a good amount of logic right there. Also, the top end gear is EXTREMELY hard to come by, so I highly doubt the AH will be filled with it. Go play some D2, or atleast study the wiki, then get back to me when you actually have some knowledge on the game you so dearly want to argue about.

Well i'm sure as hell not paying for Items in game, That would ruin my personel game play, I bought a gun on TF2 2 weeks ago, Because i didn't realize i could craft it, Made me feel angry and dirty, Because i actually already paid for the game, I think it's stupid how companys try to milk real money from us with DLC etc, This isn't some arcade, We're basically paying for Hardware / Software /elec Then the game, Then Again for items etc.. I wouldn't be atall surpised with a bunch of Whitehat Hackers took them down, No less then they deserve, Thease games companys are becoming like Goverment Taxation.

I know their not, But whats the point in playing a game that's based around Gear when Anyone with money can come along and buy your Gear, Don't get me wrong i have a very good job, But spending say 200 hours on a char for gear, When you could use a single days wage to get the same gear defeats the object of actually playing the game, It be like wow where everyone is in the same gear.

Everyone in D2 wears the same gear as well. D2 was just as easy to obtain gear, whether through purchasing or not. You could spend 1 day playing and have all the best gear in the game.

What's annoying me most about a lot of the posts is you guys haven't even played enough of the second, or first game for that matter, to even understand how it works. As you even read from both Hmmblah and Ghosthud1, it was already easy to obtain gear and the AH won't really make that much of a difference.

I personally remember COUNTLESS hours of MFing, and just leaving thousands upon thousands of uniques and set items behind because they were of no use to me or my other characters, now I'll have something to do with them.

D3 would of been about 3rd party gain if it wasn't for the in game auction house. Sites like d2 jsp were the centre of my money making schemes, but were filled with hooligans and thiefs, coming from me, a guy who played the game as a part job, I feel It's a major improvement and a safer improvement, trying to trade a 1.09 bugged tal rashas was not easy at all.

TF2 is free (now), and i think it is allright, they're not shoving ads in your face, they are saying "I fyou don't want to craft or wait for it, buy it"

Yeah I've been following TB for a few years now and I normally agree with his views, Blizzard are a total rip off company, pretty much why I stopped playing WoW so much.

If you want a perfect example of a cash cow being flogged to death with minimal effort put in look no further than the CoD franchise, absolutely no effort put in to improve the game experience since MW2 and thankfully with MW3 already heading for a fail they will rue that lazy choice when BF3 wipes the floor with it this Autum

Do you also agree with his view where he states "You can't enjoy the full experience of WoW unless you pay for a faction/server change". Which translates to "I'm a total idiot that actually rants and has no clue about video games even though I play them all day"

Out of context

How is it out of context? It's exactly what he says in the video. You don't HAVE to server xfer to enjoy WoW, nor do you have to faction change.

What he says is that if your friends change server and you don't you are screwed that is what he means, and what he usually says. The thing is there is no reason to charge for a server change, you could put a cooldown on it, and if you do not enjoy the server you are on you can pay to bypass the cooldown

It still doesn't effect the game experience. I have atleast 20 friends who play and none of us have ever even cared about server changing. The only time I've ever seen server changes was when a GROUP of friends decided amongst themselves. It still doesn't change the game experience. You can make friends in that game very easily. His point was you had to pay to get full enjoyment from the game, which you don't.

There's also no reason to charge so much for a video game, but they still do it. WoW is actually a pretty expensive game to run in comparison to other games when you think about the cost of GM's, and the other support team. But I guess you only ever thought about yourself, like most other selfish people who don't understand that it's their JOB to make money, much like every one else. I actually think the definition of job is a place where you go to work for money... Hmm, Blizzard are such assholes for working for money
