Dont know if people here use them or the 5.1s but i would like to get some, feed back would be appreciated thank you.:D

I looked this up once, and there is quite a bit on it if you do a google...

I remember that there are some Zalman ones, and they're spose to be better than the competitor - but even so they aren't suppose to be that great. I think that a surround sound kit is more effective - like those sold in the Classifieds the other day. Logitech and Soundworks do quite a range and you can pick them up for very little these days :)

I use medusa, really like them - before i ordered them i asked quite a lot of people who had them if they were any good - and they all said yes. I continued to read loads of reviews, and ended up buying some :D

They really are good - really confortable, and they do have great sound (and i use the dfi's onboard) so with a good soundcard i would imagine they'd sound alot better :)

I cant compare them to other headphones though as this is my first 5.1 headphones :) but overall i highly reccomend them! :)

I have a pair of pc150s and they are very good quality for small fones. I also have the hd280s (no mic) and they blow both the pc150s and the medusas away with clarity and quality!

I guess the real answer lies in the specification of what you need:

USB?

Headphones and Mic?

Virtual Surround?

There a lot to choose from right now - I use plantronics and they are exactly what I need, but I am not an audiophile so others will have more detailed advice - you just need to clarify ur requirements I guess.

Cheers

Thanks everyone for the feed back very helpfull,

@Gangster and Rockindaveuk are they comfortable over long periods of gaming?

Will have sound card X-FI xtreme music as i want the z5500 digital speakers but cant have that hooked up at night,

As they are 5.1 thought headphones should be along the same line other wise be a noticeable diffrence in gaming at night,

So would need HEADPHONES and MIC i enjoy my games but use them to talk with people aswell.

Thanks All

I had mine on for 3hours yesterady on bf2, comfortable for me!! :) They're padded so they dont dig into your head or anything, perfect i think :B

Good topic as i too am looking to buying some descent headphones and mic! ive been looking at the Sennheiser PC165 Pro-Gaming USB Headphones .

They look pretty compfy :) Where can i find these medusa ones>?

DAve

play.com has them for £40 including shipping and tax which is the cheapest all in afaik.

Although, personally I love my current combo - logitech USB microphone and senn HD595 headphone. Very comfy - best sound I've heard on a headphone without going into stratospheric prices.
