Gaming Headset

hi i am after a gaming headset and i see there loads out there i was just wondering what ones you find best etc

I like the idea of the force feedback headphones has anyone used them?

My budget is £40 delivered max.

Personally id get these. I have the older version and i love them. A bit above ur budget, but with cheap delivery will prob cost u around £45.

I use zalman 5.1s. They're good enough. Meds are better.

If your not fussed on 5.1 the Senhisier (cant spell that) PC151 or w/e the latest one is would do you proud.

Only thing with them are i dont have 5.1 ss card but i can just plug in the in out jack and one into the usb cant i?

Im going to get 5.1 ss on my new rig

Yeah that shud be fine, I love 5.1 in games. makes games so imersing.

For pure gaming functionality go for the Medusas

For comfort, build and sound quality, get something like some Sennheiser or Technics DJ / music headphones, with a decent source they will put nearly anything else to shame.

My Medusas stopped vibrating after one lan party (about 8 days after i got them)...

The volume box came apart after 3 months and died after 4-5 months

bad build quality and HATE x fi sound cards

Getting Sennheiser HD555 for xmas - no more 5.1 sets for me, all crap

that x fi thing can produce 5.1 anyway (virtual) cssmd or something
