I have the Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix. I also tried the GS and the GLH bios. My stock bios only goes up to 109% powertarget and that's too low for high overclocks. Both the GS and GLH have 114% powertarget, much more workable. I can maintain 2050MHz as minimum clockspeed for my graphics card. Memory goes beyond 2300MHz.
GLH could be cherry picked, my graphics card wasn't able to go that high on the clockspeed. Firestrike was borderline stable with +70mv. (my graphics card barley responds to voltage)
The cooler is absolutely awesome. On many previous graphics cars I had waterblocks. With this card that's not necessary.
With a quiet fan profile (slightly more aggressive than stock) the graphics card get's 55 degrees during Witcher 3 (V-sync activated, not 100% load).
You can find all the bioses at Techpowerup, currently 'under unverified' section.
Great video/review!
Tom, I was able to change the color, but I chose to deactivate the led. Once the is set to off, the led remains deactivated permanently until altered (not dependant on software, let stays of during booting for example).
