hi guys

ive spent the best part of an hour trying to find out what the stock voltage for my cpu is. i want to undervolt it purely to lower temps abit and because i dont like it being set on auto but i cant find it anywhere.
cpu-z says it is 0.936 under load from occt but with vdroop offset on auto how accurate is this?

thanks in advance
Devin

TBH dude vdroop or llc is just to level out the volts.

You should go into the bios and it will tell you what the vcore is running at when its on auto and then you manually put that in. Test it. The start lowering it. Really isnt that difficult to just get in there and start working it out.

If that cpu is hot on that cooler make sure its all mounted properly with fresh tim. Also remember idle temps mean squat its all about load.

OCCT - Linpack, 90% free memory and tick the AVX box = insane heat produced. Not ticking AVX can make up to 15c difference.

Thanks for that tom ill check it all out when i get home from work.
15 degress...! Bloody hell thats crazy. What does avx actually do to make that much of a difference
