I'm hoping the deal will still be on and they'll still have stock (5 left according to the webpage which doesn't look promising). I can't order anything else now 'til payday (also 28th) which is when I'll make my decision.

Knowing my luck they'll all get sold out on payday before I get my hands on one x.x

I'm still torn. FX6300 for £80 or FX8320 for £120... I'll probably get the same clocks out of both of them due to motherboard limitations which I'm guessing will be around 4.0Ghz... Do I really need those extra two cores :/

I'll feel alot better about being behind Intel if I've spent less than it costs to get an i3
Going for the 6300 since I really can't justify an extra £40 when I maybe render 1-2 video/songs a month. The 6300 will be a massive upgrade from my current athlon and will hold me along for another year or two when I will be jumping ship to Intel, unless Steamroller is amazing.
With the 6300 I'm going to get a gaming keyboard, since I'm sick of my current one ghosting, and this was probably one of the biggest reasons I'm getting the 6300

Yeah, kinda the same as I'm feeling on this one at the minute. Don't see the point in going for the top 8350 anymore since I'll be upgrading again next year. AMD said Steamroller would be AM3+ so if that still happens it will be my upgrade route, and the 6300 should be light years ahead of my current Athlon X2 240 anyway. Think I'll use the money saved on the processor to get a better GPU in the meantime.

I quite enjoyed going through that thread for some reason, my aunt was also a warehouse picker and she loved it in a weird way because she was very mathematically minded and could think up far faster routes than anyone else and hence got paid more

Yeah guilty. Was just a light-hearted post/warning to start with, but I admit it adds an extra element to your day when you pick computer parts and you're wondering if they're for someone on here. Might have to make up some little paper slips to slide into the packaging saying "picked by alcoholocaust"

Ah we don't get to pick our paths, we have to go wherever the system has set out and it's god-awful for the most part, not efficient at all. Also I'm barely breaking NMW for the next 2 months and even then I only get a 30p p.h raise >.<

If aria don't have any left by morning I will probably order from Amazon since Overclockers, Scan and Novatech are all more expensive. No Amazon discount for me though since I'm an agency worker at the minute
