if you want 2gb of RAM then go and get some Crucial Ballistix PC4000, they now sell the 2x1gb Dual Channel kit... mines got along way to go yet (i hope) and im at 265mhz 3-3-3-8 (2.8v)...

Clocking at 3.8ghz will be amazing! is that only on a Mach II GT?

well it failed prime torture test so i guess it aint stable..

Temps are up about 10 degrees since I left it so i reckon the prommie 2 cant handle it..

I'll maybe add some fans onto the condensor tomorrow to see if it helps it out a bit..

as for pi, under 24 for 1 meg..

my cas 2.5 ram is ****, anything above 210 FSB & it is struggling..

but then again, I didn't build this for benching (gave up on that years ago), I built it for gaming...

although..

If I find some nice cheap BH-5 I may give it a little go as I'm sure I can get it stable well long enough for benchies.

Post your system specs in here - lets take a look under the hood man - you got some awesome results happening there.

The ballistix stuff looks good but I am tempted by the 1GB corsair rated at PC3200 at 2-3-3-6.

thats the ram i got mate, its rated at that for P4, for amd its rated at cas 3 but runs ok at 2.5, possibly 2.. It dont like fsb at high cpu though..

Corsair 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TwinX (2x1GB)

2 X Gigabyte 7800 GTX in SLI.

2 X raptor 74 gig HD

cpu prommie cooled

gfx cards (maze 4 acetal low profile blocks with bga ramsinks) & HD water cooled (silenstar block).

Swap out your PSU mate.

Not that urs is bad (you got a great OC there), but Scorchio could not run his FX55 and 6800ultras fully overclocked until he changed to a 660w Enermax (then went P&PC).

For max stability in all areas that PSU proved to be the weak point in his rig.

How high can you get them at CAS 2.5?

Try pumping more volts in em an drop a fan over the top to keep em cool.

As a thought, would you consider swapping them for 2x512MB of Mushkin BH5?

I'm just playing for now then I'll be dropping back to 3.5 or so to run at stock volts for gaming, BF2 just loves the 2 gig

when i was benchin with a fx55 and 6800ultra i found that i had 2 fully volt mod my pcp&cooling 510 deluxe 2 get high stable clocks, when the psu wasnt volt modded the system would jus cut out when i went 2 bench
