Full Watercooling kit, CPU, x2 7970, help required

I'm frantically trying to pin down the last few items for a build I'm working on.

MSI AMD Radeon HD 7970 OC 3072MB GDDR5
1010MHz Core, 5500MHz GDDR5, 2048 Stream Processors, DVI, HDMI, 2 x mDPort, PCIe 3.0, Overclocked, Eyefinity 2.0, CrossfireX

This card is a referenced design right? If not, can someone recommend one that is or one to match up with a given watercooling solution.

I'II be cooling a 3770k and a 7970, followed shortly by a second 7970.

Was thinking of going EK Plexi/Copper (Not EK Nickel! :P) to showcase coloured coolant. But have decided to go with XSPC Raystorm ...

As far as I'm aware there is no XSPC 7970 Backplate, correct?

List so far,
£79.99 XSPC Razor 7970 GPU Waterblock (Raystorm Style)
£289.68 XSPC Raystorm D5 RX360 CPU Water Cooling Kit

Should I ... skip getting the Raystorm Kit and buy the parts separately, choose my own fittings, own tubing etc and get perhaps a better looking stand alone Res? Should I stick with the Kit because I'm a noob and don't know what I'm talking about? -.^

Is there anything else I should be considering? Especially considering the goal to Crossfire 2 7970s.

I would say you might be pushing it with only a 360 rad and cpu + 2xgpu

Also for gpu blocks/backplates, imo Watercool heatkillers are the best looking.

Personally I ould ignore the kit and spec yourself up. (Although that's actually a good kit tbf). Just for fittings and the like..

edit: to check the card, note msi SKU/maufacturer code and check on ek's coolingconfigurator if you're not sure.

IMHO one rad wont be enough, at least not and have it up to standards worth spending the money on. Youll need a 240 as well and that means your case choices will be limited.

When I built CKC I have a 360 and 2x 240 for roughly the same set up

Im cooling a 3930K and 2x HD7970 if you overclock them as well i can just keep reasonable temperatures with a 360mm and a 240mm, 60mm thick rads and a 120mm 45mm thick rad.

If they were 6XX cards or GTX rads with high speed fans, you could of scraped it for rad size but the 7970 is pushing it a bit far.

Good rule of thumb, one 120 rad for each block then a 120 on top

In your instance 120+120+120 with the extra 120=480.
This is a minimum.
