After struggling to get my PC to boot and doing absolutely everything this seemed to have fixed the problem ... Story behind this thread :
''LMFAOOO I've got another good story xDDDD
This is probably my best PC story, my 2nd would be when my PSU blew it's own cable and I RMA'd a motherboard
PPP
So we we're clearing the CMOS, when my mate starts rubbing the PC like a genie lamp, praying it turns on xDDDD
I slapped the bottom of the floor, saying ''let the bitch know her role'' and IT TURNS ON!!!!
We have a laughing spazzz for like 10 minz, and then find out the 8-pin CPU connector on my mate's motherboard has a bad contact, and that was causing all the confusion xDDDD ''
It was sorted yesterday.. Same thing today in the morning ;/
The 8-Pin in the Mobo does not contact properly and some vibration or playing around with the cable enables the PC to boot, the 4 LED's come on.
But in all honesty, I dont want to unplug everything, get the contact, plug everything back in in order for my PC to boot. HEADACHES EVERYWHERE :'/ I've only had this PC for a week and half term is coming up therefore RMA may take quite long leaving me without a PC on half term = No gaming = PAIN </3
I guess I'll have to RMA the Mobo and wait for a new one that will come with a healthy 8-Pin socket which will not require me to play around with it every single morning in order for it to boot
What do you think ?
