Frosty cleanup and tidy up.

Well guys and girls; as my other project is on hold for now, I thought I may as well kill some time, and do something ive put off for abit.
Thats cleaning, and re-sorting out my jungle in my 2nd PC(CM HAF X), I still use it as a gaming rig, and its done me well.

Well, as you can see from the image below, I was going to transfer the whole PC internals into another case I have laying about, the Bitfenix Shinobi White, but after some thought I chose not to, as ive already started to mod the case as well, and had no space to put the Hdds for now :P

Here with just the side window off, you can see what I mean by a jungle, cables are slightly to one side, but the dust build up of over 8 years sitting in the same spot just doesnt tickle me to well. I love the PSU in it, the silverstone 1200watter; its power cable is a beast of a thing.

This image was mainly taken so as I can easlily see how the cables are to be connected as I CBS going upstairs to the case box and getting the manual out.

Here Ive removed the heatsink from the CPU, removed the GPU, and the soundcard from the PCI slots.

With everything taken out of the case, and the case fully apart, it left the room, in a nice clean state... for a rubbish tip, but ive got all the parts needing to be cleaned set aside, and the case all ready togo.

The front fan was an intake fan, infact all the fans were intake apart from the top ones, to try and create positive airflow inside the case; but being a HAF case, even 3 200mm fans, and 1 180mm fan couldnt set this case to a positive airflow, I mean, how much dust can one filter get.

I tool off the roof of the case, to see how I could start reducing the amount of cables inside the case itself.
Now I looked, and saw, I dont use the Front headers what so ever, so a bit of wiggling about, and now all the front headers dont work, but I kept the cables aside incase I say good bye to this case, and give it away.

All parts layed out on the boat trailer ready to get a shot of air from the compressor (dont worry, the compressor has a filter on it to prevent water going in the airline)

And after the air gun was used, I put all the parts back inside so I could get back to re-building the case up again, and have some music playing.

Blast, I should of taken a hot of the H100 before, as it got quite dusty on the fins and the fans.; keep in mind as you can see, ive used two of the spacers per screw that corsair gives us, but still the screws would pass the thread and go into the fins if your not looking.
I suggest getting a file, and shorten the screws by about 3 notches so that you can still tighten it, but you will still need the spaces.

Thats one emtpy case I got here, and its super light, so I guess its name now is the CoolerMaster HAF X superleggera; XD because its like 20kg lighter without parts :P.

Ah yes, the CPU all cleaned up, and ready to re-add the paste onto it, just a grain size amount, no-more no less.
and 32GB of RAM, with a thermal sensor to be attached.

This is the block of the H100, and even after many times with 100% alc, the grooves on the faceplate still held the location of where the CPU was to be, it does take some time to get this 100% clean.

Now im starting to add the weight to the case, and fill her up (yes, its a girl PC, and to be frank, I wouldnt have it any otherway, she is fussy, and temperd, and would crack the hibby jibbies, but I still love her, and take care of her :P)
Now as the H100 goes onto the top of the case, I had to set that in first, so I could attach the roof plate ontop, with the power/reset buttons.

Motherboard in, and CPU can now be cooled by the H100

Here ive added the GPU, the soundcard, and the extra 4pin molex to the board, so as it can handle the gpu boost I have on the card. Also, to save space, and looks, I added the card to the 3rd slot, so the the bottom 4pim female molex would be used, and not the one in the middle of the board (ugly spot if you ask me)
Came with a hidden bonus, as the H100 also uses a 4pin molex to get power, the same cable is used to power both.... Space saver.

Coming upto the end, And I have all the power cables inplace where I want them tobe, so this is as ugly as it will get.
I just wish I had a spare black sata cable laying about, but the blue one does remind me of what one is for the blue-ray drive.

Well guys thats it, its all up and running 100% as before, just less the dust and cables.
Sorry I couldnt show you a pic of the rear, I deleted it off my camera for a massive, whoops.. but let me tell you, its clean, and with min cables back there.
I could hide a full mexican to cross the boarder in this case now XD.

Have fun guys, and I wonder if anyone notice anything with the case before, and after :P; I did do one small mod to it XD

looks a lot better know amazing what a bit cable management does . like Airdeano said the removal of the front 200mm fan and the removal of the usb 3 cables hanging out the back of the case .would change that blue sata3 cable for a black cable to make it blend in a bit better
