Hi,
my name is Chris and I recently applied for this community to join the ArmA 3 forces, though I'm fairly new to the whole Armed Assault series. I've played Operation Flashpoint for quite a long time, but never tried ArmA or ArmA2.
To me in person:
I am from Germany, 25, married, no children,
and work as a paramedic near Kaiserslautern (few might know the city since we got Rammstein Airport and other US military services here).
My main focus in gaming lies in tactical FPS like Counter-Strike, Battlefield 3, etc. but also in many World War II-themed games like Company of Heroes, World of Tanks, War Thunder, or Red Orchestra.
My interest in joining this community is because I really enjoy (squad oriented) teamplay over voice chat and I'd like to feel the thrill of a good war simulation once again!
Even though I have to be honest and tell you, that I am a total noob when it comes to ArmA. I'm barely able to control my soldier at the moment (been around 2 hours into gameplay - mostly shooting ranges and such) and I'm in desperate need of a few fellas who'd be willing to be my guides
Kind regards,
Chris aka Fridodhttp://forum.overclock3d.net/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=678878
