Frame Rate issues?

For about a month now, i've been having issues with my frame rate. Although, this only happens when my computer has been on for more than 3+ hours. Like after a few hours of leaving my computer on for a few hours, then I go back to play a game, I get around 10-20 fps, when i normally get 60 fps. I noticed this change ever since I changed to an ssd. Although, I find that fixing the problem, temporarily, is by restarting the computer, then repeats this again. I can't find a solution. help? :)

I'm guessing that if you stay playing for 3+ hours, everything stays ok ?

If this is the case, it points to a power saving type of issue. Like something sleeping and not waking correctly.

If it continues to crap out when actually playing for 3+ hours, I'd be looking at cooling - and the possiblilty that when adding the ssd, something was knocked or similar.
 
If i'm playing for longer than 3 hours, yeah, nothing goes wrong, until, I close out of the game and just watch youtube for a little while. Then I would try to launch a game again and the issue occurs again.
I will look into buying better cooling, since I don't want to stay with stock anyway.
 
Have you checked in the advanced power options? There may be something there that is causing the issue? Something like the PCI Express Link State Management.
