Fraggles new Opty...

Yup, I broke down tonight and ordered up my new Opteron...

What did I decide to go with? Well I decided to bust out the big guns for once and went with the dual core Opteron 180 Denmark. Dual 2.4ghz cores which I'm hoping will clock to some decent speeds for me!

Yeah mine's definately not one of those...

Mine is only 2.75ghz 100% prime stable.

Core 1 is prime stable up and beyond 3ghz, while the core 2 is only prime stable up to 2.75ghz. Pisser, I'm thinkin' about RMA'in it

I've gotten it up to 2.8 sp32 stable and I may just keep it at that. I will take the next few days to reflect and see if it's worth taking the chance on getting an RMA and possibly getting one that's worse.

Well it's randomly crashing on me during css / eq2, i've even taken the oc down to 2.7 and taken the oc off of my vid cards to make sure that wasnt the problem... still happens.

Still thinkin about rma'ing it...
