Hi guys just thought I would share my experiance with my new case - Define R3 from Fractal ....

Case is greate and cable manangement is superb but upon completion and testing the system the slightest movement of the case would cause the system to freeze with strange noises coming out of the speakers and the usb devices going haywire.....

I though this was a problem with one of my devices so after disconnecting everything and using remote desktop to access the system it would still freeze with the slighest vibration next to the case....

After investigation I have found the problem and luckily I think it hasnt done any damage Onboard sound is dead also ethernet - Make sure if you get this case you check the sleeving before powering on your system

Missing sleeving on the supplied fan controller cable - I have contacted Fractal for a replacement and still have recieved no reply after 48hrs

indeed i did, i luckily powered all my fans up to test the controller but it continuously tripped its power and the fans never achieved a full rotation

mine was sleeved but badly joint, i pulled it apart ever so slightly and it split into two halfs.

Bought a Phobya FanMax 6 to replace it.

Ouch! Glad I went with the Corsair 600T instead of a Fractal case..

I wouldn't be surprised if they won't give you compensation for the mobo. It's not their product.. and you can't really provide proof that the case caused the problems with the mobo.

If they do give you compensation I'd be very happy if I were you, as it doesn't happen too often AFAIK.

mine that came with the arc midi is completely fine

i hope they give you some kind of compensation.

but its strange you couldn't spot that open solder point there, it is so close to the connector

Thats BS man, so you need to LIKE their FB page to get your stuff sorted? WHY NO DIRECT EMAIL FRACTAL!

Stuff like this has no place going near FB in all honesty.

That is disgraceful man, I hope you get it sorted out man. That's a nice rig you've got man, lets hope they get the mobo sorted out for you.
