Fractal Arc Midi H100 system rebuild

MOOGLEYS

I have just rebuilt my system from a coolermaster 430 to a Fractal Design Arc Mid and added a H100 cooler as well. The difference in quality between the cases is phenominal. The Arc is a stunning case with plenty of room to work and hide cables. Here are a few pics of the rebuild.

Final build the H100 is making a horrid grinding noise it looks like it will go back. (Now fixed by running the power through my fan controller)

Testing the H100 with 4 Arctic F12 PWM fans. I have now connected all the fans using the motherboard header and an akasa PWM splitter as it gave much better results

Old to new, case size difference.

Bits to install

The H100 was simple to fit into the Arc there is so much room.

Thanks for looking

Excellent job on the wire management, your PC looks really good. Shame about the H100.

Thanks, It's a pain about the H100 and the corsair support forum seems to have quite a few with the same issue. I will give it the weekend and see if it settles settle before sending it back.

Smart looking rig fella.

Just out of interest, do you think that with the bottom drive cage removed that you would have enough room to install the H100 or a 240 rad in the front?

Yes I would say so. Just had a measure and there is 320mm from the bottom of the case to the bottom of the 5 1/4 drive bay. The H100 is 280mm end to end. Should be plenty of room tbh...

mmmm there are just so many rigs to build and not enough time or money....

Just removed the top hard drive mounting rails. Fractal even include a little right angled screw driver so you can do this...

Thinking about something like this for myself, only thing is I want it as silent as humanly possible. What sort of noises you getting from that h100?

Nice build btw. Love it

Thank you. The H100 is nice and quite running from my fan controller just a very slight hum.
