Erm, just a suggestion, just as a preference idea really.

I know with the forum setup server side, you can go into the groups setup and move the hierarchy around: eg:

Overclock3D Forums:-

.........General Forum:

-------------->Introductions

-------------->Technology News

-------------->etc

.........Overclock3D Homepage

-------------->Overclock3D News

-------------->etc

.........AMD Forum

-------------->etc

.........Intel Forum

-------------->etc

... and so on..

Is it possible, with the forum version being used, that a user can set a preference as to how the forum groups are listed ?

eg: Some1 with little interest in Intel, but heavy AMD, and wants the Cooling stuff etc can make a list:

Overclock3D Forums:-

.........Cooling Forum

-------------->etc

.........AMD Forum

-------------->etc

.........General Forum:

-------------->Introductions

-------------->Technology News

-------------->etc

.........Overclock3D Homepage

-------------->Overclock3D News

-------------->etc

.........Intel Forum

-------------->etc

... and save it as a user preference. (obviously doesn`t effect how every1 else looks at it in the present form which could be used as a default)

???

Yep me too

I don't think this is possible on standard vb - and we're trying to stay away from plugins so we can upgrade the forums easily when a new version comes out :)

I have just started using the rss feature (didnt know what it did so clicked it :D ) and It seems a nice handy feature.

Yep the 'new posts' facility is great to catch up on the latest goss if you're not subscribing to the RSS feed.
