Not sure if the forum has this yet or not, but an option to filter threads that don't have any replies may be handy. Would help with answering or replying to newly created threads under a multitude of sub-forums faster.
Just click view new content in the top right, shows all new threads/posts since your last visit or since the last time you hit that button if you do it multiple times in 1 visit.
