Hi all,

I joined a a couple of days ago (19th August) and have made over 50 posts at the time of writing this.

I've been lucky enough to have a couple of friend requests already, which is cool, and I've accepted these.

However my Friends list is still showing as empty and I've no outstanding approvals or anything.

Is there some further requirement I'm missing before my friends list updates? In my profile it still says "Scoob hasn't added any friends yet" - I really thought I had!

I'm a little worried I might be inadvertently offending people by doing something daft and rejecting them, though that is not my intent!

Any help welcome.

Cheers,

Scoob.

Have you tried adding any friends might be an issue with your account

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

I've approved friend requests that have come in via "personal conversations" but that's all I've done. If there's another action I need to take I'm not sure what it is, there are no outstanding requests I can see.

Cheers,

Scoob.

Try adding me, then I can accept it and we'll see if it shows up on your profile

EDIT, it shows up on both our profiles now

So just add the ones that added you if you can, and then they will probably show up

Hi,

That worked, my friend

Hmm, am I being dumb? On other forum I frequent accepting a friend request then makes you mutual friends. Do I have to actually ADD the person who sent me the request manually? Gonna try that now...

Ah!! That works!

So, I was being dumb! Simply approving the request isn't enough, I then need to go into that persons profile view manually and add them from there. Ok, cool I get it now lol.

Hope I didn't offend anyone by seemingly ignoring them!

I'm not a facebook user so maybe I just don't know how this normally works lol.

Edit: Oh, I dropped all the "friend approval" stuff in case that was impacting anything...

Cheers,

Scoob.
