fittings vs tubing size

I have everything lined up for my project except fittings. I am going with Bitspower compression. Multiple angles. The tubing Ive found on PerformancePCs website has Feser 3/8 inner 1/2 outer uv orange, Should I get 1/4 threaded fittings that match the tubings measurements? There is only one more manufacturer with UV Orange that I see. I want to keep the lines as slim and straight as possible. Im going with Blackice stealth radiators and Koolance waterblocks. I am making a custom res. which will be threaded to match fittings.

When using compression fittings you will need to use the same size as the tubing or they may fail to hold the tubing tight enough and cause it to leak.

funny, I was dead set on black. But the Black Sparkle caught my eye. And it making it hard for me to decide.
