Fitting a peltier setup inside a case.

Im putting together a new pc rig. It has an 80 watt peltier cooling the gpu (9800xt which i will overclock) and that is in turn water-cooled. I was going to use a triple fan radiator to cool the peltier (i know its a bit much but i may add in another part to the watercooling loop later). Then i found out that a triple fan radiator and water-cooling system took up a lot of room. Now i have to find a case that will accomodate all of the stuff.

I saw in an issue of custompc (great mag) a pc with a swiftech radbox holding up a triple fan radiator outside the case (i think it was made by scan). Do you think that i could do something like that, and then mod the top of the case to fit anothr triple in the future?

NOW THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN (YES, YOU!) Could anyone please find me a case that will acomodate all of this kit (i dont want anything bigger than a coolermaster cm stacker, as ive already got 1 - and i dont want another 1)

Cheers!

I'm not actually sure on the dimensions of a stacker and whether a pc75/1/G70 etc is bigger. It is one of the best cases for inbuilt watercooling - you can buy one from Phil, he can also mod the case and fit the rad for you if needed. Also you could try a pc65 with a seperate radbox like the hurricane. All these can be anodised as well which looks the nuts.

The PC75 (windowed) or PC70 (solid sides) is probably the best case for the job. You've got masses of room for a triple radiator and components without sacrificing stlye or chassis cooling. The G70 is a lovely case too but its marginally smaller than the above, although it features 120mm chassis fans front and rear as well as a VGA 120mm. I can source and modify all types of Lian Li cases so if you need any help email sales@extremeprometeia.com

I dont want to spend over £100 on a case. I dont want anything larger thatn a stacker, but i would definitely prefer something smaller. I was looking at a SilverStone "TEMJIN" J05B or an akasa eclipse case. There would be enough room at attatch a swiftech radbox and they aren't as large as a cm stacker. What do you thanks (i though taht could mount a horizontal reservior on teh top just for the hell of it.)

Thanks - the temjin looks better. I mght get that. Just a question to do with water-cooling whislst your at it:

IF i bought some barb fittings, would the metal that goes into the thing your attatching it to (ie a radiator) and the piece of spikey metal (the barb) that goes through the tubing to hold it in place both come in the packaging. NO COMPETITORS

I haven't done much watercooling before - could anyone show me where to get any good barbs?

Please dont discuss competitors sites on my forum - but to answer your question you need to make sure you get the right barbs for the rad - so if you buy a Thermochill 120.3 for instance, you'll need 3/8 to 1/2" barbs. Both items are available on my site.

You get different types of watercooling, low flow and high flow - low flow tends to be smaller bore, ie 8/9/10mm tubing, high flow is generally 1/2". EP-UK specialises in 1/2" high flow systems and components.

Sorry - thanks for the advice. I looked on your site (which looks very good) and got confused. (poor me) What do the 2 different ensd do, and which are which. I guess the tubing goes into 1 end and and the other end screws into whatever it will fir into (such as an Eheim 1250 Pump Outlet)

How is the tubing held into place? (i dont really want to deal with a big leak)

Thanks for all the help
