Hi guys

This is my first time posting on here and ive had a look thru the forums and it seems like a nice place to be. So my first water setup i have a triple rad mounted internally in a antec 1200 and a xspc pump and waterblock now everything is running fine but when i check my temps i notice that i had better cooling on air and just wondered u guys know where i have gone wrong. Also do i need to do any maintenence on the water system ?!?

My temps on all 4 cores are : 38 37 34 34 at idle

Cheers Guys

Hi :)

Hi :)

Please post your system specs either in your signature or in the post, it may help the guys to determine wot the problem is.

Im afraid I can not be much help here thou as I am still on air but I am planning on going over to the dark side next year :)

Good Luck :)

My specs are

Antec 1200

XFX NForce 750i SLi

Intel Q6600

4GB Corsair XMS2

700W JeanTech Storm PSU

260 GTX

XSPC Waterblock

XSPC Laing DDC Pump

Triple Rad - Dont know the name of it i bought it 2nd hand off a friend

Fesser One UV Cooling fluid

1/2 inch tubing

I just have the one loop running to my cpu i havent W/C'd the graphics card yet

My temps after running Prime95 Blend are

Core #0 = 45

Core #1 = 46

Core #2 = 42

Core #3 = 42

And thanks for the welcome :)

Is the cpu being run at stock clock? What is the CPU voltage set at in the bios or has this been left at AUTO? Finally welcome :D

Is running at 2.7Ghz which is just a bit higher than stock and the volts in bios are all standard i havnt touched them.

Thanks for the welcome

I believe the voltage settings are what re sending the temps rocketing my stock clocked needed 1.13V with a basic gigabyte 3d aurora watercooler. Try setting it to about in 1.15V~1.20V this should bring the temps down. I was achieving 31C (cores) idle 43C load =] with cooling considerably worse. You can use CPU z to find the auto set voltage and to check on vdrop.

Right ive been into bios and gone into the "Cell Menu" and my CPU voltage reads 0.00000v but cpu-z says my core voltage is 1.320v which i havnt adjusted before in bios ive only messed around with the FSB which is at 1196 with a 9 multiplier and i cant go any higher on the FSB cos after that my PC boots but my monitor doesnt come off standby

Thanks for all the help

Cheers
